Tidewater Sports Car Club just confirmed their 2026 dates for the 3 day Memorial Day Track Event!!!!! We had 16 Type R's and 1 DE5 come out last year, and we had a blast! Several people were upset that they missed out on the event, so here you go, 6 months notice!!! Just to clarify we're looking at the event in May!

@MooMoo made a bitchin' website to make it easy to find the sign ups! Go to https://www.typertrackday.com

Bump for a reminder for this. Registrations for these events will be opening in the coming weeks. The event that we are targeting is the 3 day event in May over Memorial Day weekend. Friday will be solo drivers only, and Saturday and Sunday welcome drivers needing instructors! VIR is one hell of a track, and there are a lot of drivers on this site that should be considering this event!

Because so many people said "I wish you had told me about it, I would have come" last year, we made a website so its a bit more official.

Can reg now if you guy a membership to tidewater or wait till end of February. Sign up for the mailing list and I will send a reminder, etc.

Just sent TSCC a message to see if I can join and instruct. I assume I should start by joining as a member? Also possibly interested in sharing a room/crashing on someone's floor/whatever for Friday and Saturday night.

You don't have to be a member to instruct with them. Just as long as you have a NASA or PCA instructor license, then you should be good to go. Those are the only two qualifications that they accept IIRC.
