Anyone running 285/35/18?

I know we've seen it with a more conservative offset but thinking about running it on 18x10 +40.
It'll depend on the tire you plan to run, some run more meaty than others. Why not 275/35/18 that's guaranteed to fit without any issues?

Looking at the PS4S. Was originally planning on running 275/35/18 Nankang CR-S’s but don’t need all that grip honestly

Also consider the Yokohama Advan Apex V601, pretty much the same interms of grip levels and wear but cheaper than the equivalent PS4S

I actually prefer the V601 grip over PS4S, on track and street.
I have Falken RT615K+ on my car now but my next set will be the Advan Apex V601. Everyone I know shares your sentiment about them.

On our ctech shop cars we run

RT615K+ on the EK9 (going to AD09 when its time)
AD09 on the FL5
V601 on the FK8
A052 on the 981 Cayman track car

V601 is fantastic for summer street tires

Question all, I bought some Saga S Plus TE-37's in DD GM 18 x 9.5 +45mm, I live in California, Specifically San DIego, What tire size do you guys recommend? I see either 275/35 or 265/35 but I'm really not sure on which to go, I am on stock height as well and MAYBE will go lowered on Springs soon but for now I think I like the Stock Ride Height. Also, any recommendations on tires for SD?
Edit- This is my daily driver.
