+1 to this. We got my wife's car PPFed from the most reputable installer near us in Canberra. Total waste of money. Full of bubbles, a line running down the bonnet and they had the car for two weeks. From memory it was close to $3k and I'd never bother again. I have stone chips in my FL5 and I'd still prefer that than being out of pocket $3k for something that looks bad. That theoretical $3k this time around I've used for my TE37's that are due in Feb. I don't have a big budget for mods like most and I'd recommend to all to put it into a performance mod rather than PPF. Just my oppinion and totally get that prisine paint is more important to some than others. Not on the list, but my only regret is where I got my PPF installed. They did a horrible job. They made numerous efforts to redo it, but it still did not come out great. Fortunately, I filed a dispute and got a nice chunk of change back. At least the paint is protected.
No regrets regarding any of my other mods yet.
