Just install it with the logo facing inward. Problem solved!Almost 2k and they spray paint a brand new intercooler. Definitely not happy about that. Anyone know how to remove paint from a intercooler?

I don't consider spray painting as branding. They should have a option out box or include stencils. There’s branding everywhere. Aftermarket wheels have branding. The seats are branded. Customized and bespoke will cost more. Then it’s no longer cost effective.
No it's not the best for me. That's the Wagner waiting to go in next week. It also doesn't have a logo which was on my requirements list.I mean the oem is the best for you because it's on your car right.
It's not like pwr and J's didn't make intercooler for fk8 and the information is hidden lol

Right...I've used C&R radiators in the past and was very happy with them. No experience with their intercoolers rebranded as PWR though. I am sure it is a great intercooler as others seem to be very happy with it. I decided to pass on it simply because I could not locate details regarding the core design to justify the high price. Instead, I decided to go with a high price JDM option.C&R, PART OF PWR ADVANCED COOLING TECHNOLOGY
After decades of providing quality cooling solutions for top US race teams and performance automotive builders, C&R joins the PWR family of companies, delivering the latest cooling technology for every condition.
Founded by Chris Paulsen in 1988, C&R Racing, Inc. started as a specialty machine and fabrication shop serving the IndyCar Industry. Driven by a passion for motorsports, Paulsen applied his knowhow as a Chief Mechanic for top level competition drivers, expanding C&R’s product line to include cooling components that met the demanding conditions of top-tier US race teams. C&R grew into the supplier of choice for cooling solutions used by leaders in the motorsports industry.
Years of history in automotive industry not snake oil claims. One of the lightest Ic's even with bar plate design.
Another great intercooler choice. I also like that it is black for a more stealth look from the front. No it's not the best for me. That's the Wagner waiting to go in next week. It also doesn't have a logo which was on my requirements list.
I would have looked at the JDM options but one of my constraints is budgetRight...I've used C&R radiators in the past and was very happy with them. I’d trust in PWR, and so far I’ve got the data to prove it.If it were me, I would not mess with it and simply return and buy a different intercooler. After researching available intercooler options (reference this thread), I believe the J's Racing and HKS are the best options as both are true T&F intercoolers.
PWR is apparently a good option to consider but the hybrid B&P thing and claims of F1 technology without providing core details never resonated with me. From the outside, it still looks like a B&P. It also adds 2 additional tubes over OEM and I don't particularly care for the fin design considering the price.
Here is a close up PIC of the fins on the J's Racing Hyper Intercooler with core design details posted here:

Never heard of them but since they're using a Garrett core it should be good. Problem is, thats a big spend for an intercooler with very little information out on it.while randomly googling intercooler info, I came across CDM Performance....has anyone heard anything about them?

I updated the FL5 Intercooler Reference Thread. The CDM Performance intercooler is very similar to the PRL one but uses a Garrett B&P core.while randomly googling intercooler info, I came across CDM Performance....has anyone heard anything about them?

Thanks and I am curious...Were those logs recorded while also using the OEM downpipe and OEM turbo/downpipe shielding?A few data points. Heat has to go somewhere. IAT are rock solid at 100-105 degrees all day.
