TF-9007D is ever so slightly too tall. To get the air box lid on you have to force it. It'll fit, but the lid rubs on the top of the filter.I was about to ask the same question about AFE filters! I’m curious about the quality of the dry medium.
Here are 2 AFE P/Ns that should fit the same as the PRL filter:
TF-9007D
21-90052 (this one has a 1” hole in the top for whatever reason. But it looks like it’s plugged, and it’s significantly cheaper.)
This filter also caused erratic MAF readings for me. My fuel trims were all over the place and at one point the car kept dying right after startup with a MAF out of range code. Swapped filters and it immediately went away.
I assume the dry media has decent filtering. It's very dense and thick. Intake sounds were also super quiet with this filter.
I want to try their pro guard 7 oiled media. Supposedly has top tier filtration and hopefully won't cause the MAF issues I was experiencing. I have a few PN's that should fit but their filters are quite pricey for testing purposes. And not available on Amazon so no easy way to return.
