Ah yes! It’s both! I knew I should’ve went out to my car to double check. There are holes in the plastic AND the metal. When the plastic is removed, you’ll see what I’m referring to. ?
Yeah I know what you are saying, you can’t use the holes in the metal as the measuring holes but why I am saying mark the holes on the plastic in the metal and now you know where the markings are.

I didn't see anyone mention the new Wunderladen racing dipstick for the FL5. Is great and the price if reasonable also. This was a late 2025 new product.

I posted about it a little in another thread in December. If people bought one, I don't think they posted about it and they were also backordered so a lot of people either got them late or possibly still haven't yet.

Love mine, so much easier than the orange tip.

Just got mine, whats up with the high and low markings not matching the stock dip stick? I shot wunderland a message but that seems really weird, they are off by a good margin

It might be my ADHD memory and my terrible search abilities but I feel semi confident Austin@wunderladen addressed this over on CivicX.
I think … lol

That is not really explaining why the H and L don't match the stock stick, its anwering if the tick works in an entirely different engine
I have to agree with you. There’s something funny about that sentence, “…the markings are different, but still accurate…” That doesn’t even make sense!:rofl: But seriously, if it’s not 1:1 accurate, how close is it? Is it at least within 1/2 qt? Has anyone checked their oil (in their K20C1) with both Wunderladen and OE dipsticks and laid them side by side?

I would say to tag Austin for clarification regarding the dip stick level and hope he responds, but I don't think I've ever seen him post in this forum.

Maybe @Two Step Performance can chime in regarding the level since they did a collab dipstick recently with Wunderladen Racing and might have insight.

I emailed Wunderland yesterday to ask and waiting reply.

As @TypeRD mentions if the markings don't match its not accurate. They can say the Honda stick is not correct for some reason or there is a leaway but the H and L are very far apart from OEM.

Also yes I could just keep it in the middle but I don't like that, its a $70 dip stick I bought to solve something and now appears to introduce another issue. I understand maybe they make the stick for different cars but this is a type R specific stick, it should have the same markings as the OEM.

As it stands if there is not a good explanation I will be returning it

@Austin@Wunderladen Racing any thoughts?
