Flashing CEL but no trouble codes

After trying to diagnose the cause of misfire codes in my car, my tuner adjusted the fuel trims, and the issue seems to be resolved. However, I recently noticed a flashing CEL without any trouble codes. What could be the cause? Is it just a random occurrence? My car is FBO/upgraded turbo with an Xdi hpfp and 1400cc injectors.

A blinking CEL signifies a misfire, even if there’s no code showing. It could have been a temporary misfire and didn’t register the P0300. If it doesn’t happen again, maybe it was a fluke.

It's happened twice before and no codes but prior it happened to P0300-P0304 codes would pop up.

Dealer isn’t going to do anything with those upgrades. I’d probably say visit a reputable shop.

Could be possible. I had to have my head unit replaced 3 weeks into ownership.

It was implied to return to stock, might need an ecu.

Aren't DI likely to misfire if pushed too hard? Check w. another tuner, maybe IMW, Jester, Phearable -- someone who has a lot of experience with this platform, and share logs w. them.

are you running colder plugs and mostly driving around normally on the street?

could be injectors, injector install issue, injection timing issue, injector characterization issue, etc

altering the airflow model to change fuel trims probably wouldn't be the solution.
