I was browsing online and decided to check back to see what new items the store had in stock. I came across this fog light kit made for the new Civic bumper. For anyone looking to add fog lights, this could be a great option, though it might require cutting into the bumper to install them. I personally don’t need fog lights, but since a lot of people here ask about them, this kit could be perfect for their needs.

I miss having fogs, the yellow glass ones in reflector housings. But they also were the first thing to break. I had PPF on them and it just kept the shards together when a rock decided to end it.

These should be pretty nice, even has a stalk. Could've been a button too if there was an open slot under the dash.

I had mine get busted on my SI once. I really need it where I'm located honestly.

I would love to have fog lights. I live close to the coast and we have heavy fog at times.

Looking at the pictures on Mikstore, I am not convinced that it will fit our FL5 front fascia / bumper cover...

Note that the angle of the lower grill edge in the FL5 is one diagonal line
whereas Mikstore image shows the lower grill edge is angled down.
also note difference in the area near the lower front wheel well

It says it’s for the 25-26 facelift at the top of the page.
I really miss having fog lights

I never stated that they were for the FL5. I said they are for the new Civic bumper. As far as I know, the Type R has had the same bumper since 2023. Probably, some people have a newer bumper that I don’t know about. I put the post as an option because you can make it fit if you want to, since people cut the bumper to install oil coolers. I used to have a ’92–’95 EG hatch with ’00 fog lights.

Everyone complains about not having fog lights, but if one of the JDM companies releases one for $10k after 40 years of waiting, everyone runs to get them. I just posted it as an option. I wouldn’t do that to my personal car, but if someone wanted to try something, it’s an option here. I couldn’t care less who does it or not it’s a common complaint, and that’s why I shared it.

I really do appreciate you posting it, since I am still looking for fog lights.

I just was not sure if these might or might not fit our FL5

I am sorry I was not clear

They require cutting of the bumper, so a brave soul who's potentially got a scrapped bumper or just wants to try them could probably get the lights to fit. Would they look that great? idk.

Still doesn't make sense to me why the refreshed bumper got rid of the fog lights for the non sporty trims.
