Thanks! Having driven only RWD cars there before, I described it to my friends as everything that's scary at Road ATL is things that FWD, and especially the CTR, are good at, so you can be pretty aggressive in ways that don't work as well in RWD.

The car definitely has a 36 in it and might be able to do a 35 in perfect conditions.

Notes:Lots of laps at Road ATL but the first time with this car, and probably the best lap I've ever done there. The DSC controller really took a lot of the pushiness of the car out and I was able to really get on power early. The Gridlife ClubTR/Street FWD lap records are both around 1:37.5, so I was super happy with this for a stock powered car.

Nice lap! FWIW, not to take away anything from your lap because that's absolutely a great time for stock power, but the whole GL event this year was heavily compromised with horribly managed sessions and weather (ie, during the first session for most of the fast Street/ClubTR field they left 3 cars off with local yellows in various places the entire session, and rain all day day 2) - I expect a much better showing next year, but we'll see! I'll definitely be even slower though... 😂

Curious if anyone in here has a lap at Lime Rock Park they'd like to share? I'd be interested to see what some of you fast guys' laps looks like. Not sure it's really worth sharing as this was only my second track day, first at this track, and hit traffic on the straight. Best I could do is a 1:06 before we got rained out but in keeping with the thread:

I didn't see any laps from Roebling Road here, so I'll add mine from last Friday. I blew turn 5, but still set my PB in this car. Had another good lap going, but ran up behind a slow Lotus not paying attention.

Solid Lap! Vmins looks excellent for street tires in pretty much all the turns. I haven't taken my CTR to Sebring yet but countless laps in S2ks and BRZs.

T17 though, try and open up that entry and exit a bit more. Based on the rest of the turns mph, try and shoot for a min around 75mph next time and carry that exit wide jumping back on throttle either just before or while just starting under the bridge. Being tight to the inside at exit has some serious bumps that will unsettle the car. You want that exit to be out to the wall almost before the bridge while on throttle.

Hope this helps a bit and go get a 2.28!

It was great meeting Jason Lewis (WOT), and he kindly spent a lot of time helping me understand the car and its behavior on track. Among the great advice that he gave me, he suggested dropping my air pressures way down and that seemed to help the car feel more balanced and easier to rotate on corner entry (cold 24 front, 28 rear).

I had been forced to run much higher pressures with the stock front camber because the front tires were rolling over in the tighter corners, but this is no longer a problem with the Megan's Racing ball joint kit at 3.8 degrees negative (which might be a bit too much).

I had put brand new tires (Nankang CRS) on the front, and had expected significantly improved lap times, but was disappointed as they were a full second slower than the previous event, but at least they were consistent.

Notes:After a couple attempts I finally put everything together to get a sub-20 at NCM. The track is weird with conditions and needs low sun load and cool temps to be quick - these also happen to be what the car needs, so it all worked out. This lap was the 2nd session of the day, so not perfect, but I'm super happy with a lap that's ~0.2 off the SCCA Sport 3 record for a car with stock power.

I continue to be impressed with the DSC Sport controller. It's a super simple way to adjust the balance, and I spent most of Day 1 tweaking it to dial the push out of the car so it was good to go this morning.

Notes:First time at Ozarks and had an amazing time. This track has to be driven to be believed - the videos don't to the elevation change justice at all. It's one of the fastest, highest commitment tracks I've ever driven and requires really solid driving fundamentals.

Struggled with traffic all weekend but finally got a decently clear lap on Sunday morning to try and put everything together. Still some opportunities here, but I was pretty happy with this lap overall. The CTR worked well and was awesome for really sending it over the blind crests.

Can't recommend this track enough and can't wait to go back.
