Turns out the drivers side mirror motor doesnt fold fully and there is some play in the motor... gonna have to contact mikstore and see about fixing or getting a replacement...

Do any of these setups allow you to disable the folding? The Mikstore kit you cannot.

That link doesnt work and for some reason wont let me share it here- from another 11th gen civic forum... basically they installed the Mikstore "model C kit" on their 22' Si- said everything pinned into factory connectors except for 2 wires needed to be tapped... (theres instructions/pics posted I can post here if anyone would like) then the option in the infotainment for folding mirrors showed up in their settings

To get the OEM integration into the headunit looks like you will need the Model C or E kit from mikstore... now question is does the USDM FL5 come with that "chipset" with the auto fold function in it and we just got robbed of the folding function... or do we still need to purchase the C kit with everything...i'm going for easiest method here haha but would spend the extra cash for the C kit to do it right

I ordered the model f kit by the recommendation of a dude on FB. He said it was only 3 wires to connect on the drivers side and 2 on the passenger side.
Just waiting for it to arrive.

I bought the kit and spent hours disassembling and reassembling the side mirror on the passenger side. I couldn’t figure it out, there are no good instructions online and no good videos. You also can’t get a refund from the store.

That certainly seems like the best plan getting the whole assembly. Thanks

Oof. Sorry to hear that. There were no paper or PDF instructions that made sense?

thinking about grabbing the model F from milkstore. I need to replace my passenger side mirror after a mishap. How have the mirrors held up? Any other wiring issues after the new harness was sent?

Model F kit installed

straight forward if you are handy

I figured it out by following the civicSI install instructions

3 pins go to the driver side GRAY plug and 2 to the newly supplied mirror with motor

2 pins on passenger side to the GRAY plug and 2 directly to the newly supplied mirror

that’s it essentially

everything else is plug and play, you’ll need to Depin the white plugs on the mirror side and push them back in with the new pin and old pin together back into the slots labeled “folding mirror”
