So what I'm hearing is...Insurance would determine what the market value on the car is in the area relative to yours and try to make a fair determination on what it would cost to totally replace your car. So if they feel it'll cost 65k to buy a CTR at whatever condition/miles it was at when you totalled it, then they will give you 65k.
That’s largely the standard right now unfortunately. I bought a ride from them myself. How so if they have a 10K ADM?
Dealer near Seattle called me yesterday, $10k markup. I declined. They called me again today $20k markup.
what even is this
GAP insurance will take care of that. What happens if you total your CTR that you payed 20k ADM on? Would insurance cover you for what you paid?
I’d prefer if dealerships just put an ADM than add a bunch of crap I don’t want. If the dealership is doing the PPF then it will be installed quite poorly. LoJack is cool I guess but there are other low cost methods to mitigate theft or help recovery. Dealership tint never uses the brand or type of tint I’d want.Hendrick Honda (Woodbridge, Virginia): No ADM, but a ton of mandatory accessories. Charging something like $9k for partial PPF alone and added a bunch of other things like LoJack, wheels locks, tint, etc. Ends up being about $62.5k OTD.

One dealership here in FL did include the forged accessory wheels and spoiler in their $15k ADM which I think is a bargain.
Their list is 10+ people long, I'm on this oneCame here to say for any of my east coasters to follow Curtiss Ryan Honda in CT because they only sell cars at MSRP. Ask for Joe Riggsbee
Last year I got literally one of the last new 21 CTR’s available and these guys were the only one selling at msrp and I was so lucky to even find them.
Interesting that they changed it. I called them on Wednesday and was greeted with a monotone "there will be 15k ADM take it or leave it"Hendrick Honda (Woodbridge, Virginia): No ADM, but a ton of mandatory accessories. I've had a couple southeast dealers call me telling me they have Type Rs available or deals have fallen through and they're all above 10k ADM. I think a lot of people are pulling out with the higher MSRP + ADM combo. 5k ADM still seems hard to get but anyone over 10k ADM seems to be having a harder time selling than they thought they would.Interesting that they changed it. Maybe they ARE getting desperate xD
dumb question here….if you are made to buy the accessory forged wheels, do you still get the OEM wheels in the trunk so you can purchase track tires or snow tires?I’d prefer if dealerships just put an ADM than add a bunch of crap I don’t want.
