Well now you guys tell me... a little late lol. Oh well, hopefully these work.
Don't trip because truthfully most people don't install them correctly or reinforce them. I'm on my 4th set of kw suspension. Customer service is why I stick with them.
Literally sent me a whole new replacement set because king motorsports botched the install.

Good to know! It's interesting because it seems like a lot of people hate to deal with KW, but maybe it's who you know, or maybe that's more on the dealer side.

Do you have pictures of how you mounted them successfully just for reference?

You would think a place that sells Mugen parts would be top notch

yea….I won’t go near KW, unless it’s something from their motorsports department. The consumer grade options have gone way down hill and are riding on the name. Their CS was atrocious when it came to the A90 issues too - which were plentiful and critical failures.

My solution is use extra zip ties.I believe instructions say 3. I use 5 of them and make sure all of the wires are out of the way and can't bind up.

This is absolutely true and the crazy thing is I had to wait 3 months to get in because they were doing race prep for team cars. Scott the owner is giving me a substantial discount on mugen parts. So it's worked out.

Good to know - I have plenty of zip ties. :) I'll use some of the HD ones I have.

What KW products have you personally had?
I started using them back in 07 on 3 different platforms. I've never had or personally know people who have had issues 🤷

I'm glad you had positive results -- no one is discounting your personal experience.

I run the Supra A90 track group, and it was an unfortunate regular occurrence across all their consumer offerings -- to the point it became a unanimous "please don't buy" every time someone brought it up. I don't need to have a personal on track failure (i.e., severing of the shock body), to see and understand how often it was happening, particularly as opposed to the zero failures from any other manufacturer.

Maybe their A90 development was poor -- but they denied any warranty claims for V3/V4 as well as Clubsport.

Either way, KW is an old household name, whose current OTS offerings aren't anything to write home about. I'd buy Redshift or Bilanx custom spec before I touched KW consumer grade. To be fair though, almost all, if not all OTS coilover options, typically aren't worth the money they cost.

So is the ST coilovers also not good since it is a KW product?

This I just don't believe . As I've shown proof of error that can happen. King motorsports has more experience with racing than anyone on this thread. Wasn't KW fault just install error and thing's happen. Also shown proof of there customer support by them sending me brand new parts.
It's funny Spoon uses KW V3 on the race car and demo cars and have partner with them for supper tyku series. However they don't work for guys who take a supra to a local scca event.
Doesn't your car have stock suspension and what suspension did your supra have?

You don't have to believe it. I'm not forcing you too, but it doesn't change the reality. I'm glad you like KW, truly, enjoy it. That doesn't mean I have to recommend it to others, and you also have to be okay with that.

I ran Fortune520's (I was the dev car and they were free), and JRZ RS Pro 3 on my A90. The Fortunes, well, they were Fortune, and they also physically damaged my car a few different ways -- story for another day. The JRZ's were incredible, would run again.

I'm currently on stock suspension now, as I'm evaluating the chassis, and determining where it needs additional improvement. I'm maximizing stock, to the best of my ability, and then making adjustments. I'm not just slapping every part on at will.

I'll continue my dev plan as I and my partners see fit, and continue to provide proven recommendations to help others have a positive experience on track. I get nothing financially out of this, I'm not selling anything, I'm not boasting about discounts and name dropping -- I simply want people to have positive, problem-free experiences with the car.

He did have multiple track records in that Supra, so he may have an idea or two on what works.

And literally giving wrong information. Kwv3 lifetime warranty. Clubsport low friction seals ment for the track. Rebuild service no warranty for obvious reasons.
Let me understand this. You are evaluating this chassis? You have to be ok with me asking why on earth would one take your recommendations over let's say mike Kojima, spoon, or the drift king himself lmfao 🤣
