I have the 27won 70 RMM and it's introduced a decent amount of NVH. I'm thinking of downgrading.

The PRL is barely noticeable IMO, both in its performance benefits AND NVH increase. The 1-2 feels a bit better and it puts it down a bit better but it’s not huge. Similarly, when you first start the car, it’s a bit more aggressive - a little rougher, a little rumblier, but I would say no significant increase in NVH. I think it’s perfect for a daily driver, but it will be pretty tame for a purpose built race car.

hows the intake? tell me its terrible because I really don't want one
All intakes, starting from drop in filter will give you increased sound. I think you should get one that is also eye candy to your eyes.

yeah I agree that they all do the same you but I would never pay $1500 for an intake, specially before buying an exhaust which this car absolutely needs.

Unfortunately the carbon fiber or titanium material comes at a price. Get the exhaust first. There’s a bunch to choose from. When I chose mine, I was fixated on getting one that retains the valve function, thinking it would quiet the exhaust down dramatically. I’d say now that the real difference is just between 1 or 2 resonators.

I'm waiting to see what 27won comes out with. Then if not that exhaust maybe resonators.

I too felt the same way. I decided to buy a turbo in place of a intake. They were about the same price. I have a feeling the intercooler I want will be about the same situation. Prl has the best value however I just don't want any prl on my car.

The valve on my Remus makes a considerable difference.

Maybe because mine is loud to begin with, I don’t really hear the difference. I normally drive with engine in sport mode and +R at the track.

a lot of people don't seem to like PRL.

I am going to probably try to track down a hasport 62A instead of the PRL, the 70 sound like its way too much but the PRL sounds like its too little. If I am gonna do this mod I want to actually feel something and not just get rattling for little improvement. I guess I can always remove it
