I noticed the manual says the preferred jack point is deep in the middle of the car.. . the first time i used a ramp to get some lift and then put the jack in there to lift it up..
Is there a better way? Do any of you guys have an ultra low profile jack that can slide under deep enough to that middle point?

If you don't have access to a lift - ramps, a low profile jack (and block of wood or rubber puck, to protect the subframe from dents and scratching), wheel chocks and jackstands (flat top jackstand preferred) is standard procedure. Here are the jackpoints.

I use low profile ramps and a low profile 3 ton daytona jack to lift from the front jack point. The ramps only raise the car 2.5" but it gives me enough clearance even with my front lip.

I bought Verus little blocks designed to clamp onto the pinch welds where you jack ...protecting them. Chose red. Mechanic LOVES them (as do I)....eacy to find, function well. Tire shop loved it too..... My jack works find with them.

I use two jacks. A small racing jack at the pinch weld to get the front up enough, then slide the big Daytona low profile in far enough to hit the front jack point. While I appreciate the improved aerodynamics of the FL5, the rear lower airdam covering the rear jack point is a bit more of a pain to deal with than my FK8 was.

Totally agree! It's an awesome quality of life mod if your car's up on a lift regularly 🙌🏽

Amazon specials:

Max haul Low Profile Extended Length Ramps

Never had any issues with them even though they’re so cheap.
These look pretty well made for the price. I have something similar 3" low profile Race Ramps....bought it long time ago and it has come in handy many many times. I have yet tried them to see if my hydraulic jacks can get to that center front jacking area.

I also use a Quickjack with extensions for bigger work like suspension or exhaust and that is the best investment in my garage. I should have bought it long time ago to make life easier working on cars. It's also great for detailing lower body panels while sitting on a stool.

I drive the front wheels on top of two 2x6 lumber.
That gives me enough clearance to reach the front jacking point with my hydraulic jack.
Lift the front, put a pair of stands in the right front jack points below the front doors.
Lift the rear by the jacking point near the exhaust.
Place another pair of stands below the rear doors jack points.

I made small wheel cribs out of 2x4s I jack each front corner and put under the wheels, then my low profile jack can reach the center. To me it makes it safer for setting the car back down than coordinating jacks, but it does take longer. It also doesn't get in the way of Jack stands.

I use rubber pinch pads to lift at the pinch weld jack points. I can lift the side of the car to do wheel rotations, or use the front half of the Summit ramps as a wheel crib when doing oil changes.

Yet it seems that the consensus was that these permanently attached pinch weld blocks might fall off and cause an accident. the recommendation was rubber pads

IMHO best are the ones with magnets

I'm am looking to purchase and install dedicated lift pads to protect my pinch welds and make using a QuickJack easier. So far, the only two contenders I've found are ZL1 and Versus. For those that have gone down this path, which is more popular / better? I'm leaning towards ZL1 but, have already experience bad (I mean non existent) customer support on a prior order and wonder if I should sprinkle my money elsewhere?

I like the ZL1 better for the following reasons: looks like it gives you a bigger area to hit while jacking, I like the "lift point" marking on the side, and they are a little cheaper.
