Looking at the videos. The ITS doesn't seem the have the same gauge cluster layout in Sport+ like how we do when we're in R+ mode in the FL5.

I personally think it looks like all the other Acuras. Just doesn't feel as special as the FL5 IMHO.
I agree. The FL5 Type R is a purpose-built car that doesn't really compromise. This ITS is trying to be both sporty and luxurious at the same time, so it's comprised and less special. It misses the mark in both directions IMO. In trying to please a larger customer base, it becomes a good car but also more forgettable. I really do believe the FL5 Type R will be a classic in years to come - it's that special. And that's something that can only be said for very few cars these days.

The upgraded stereo is a big plus, exhaust is nice and I like this blue a lot better and the interior is not so red which is a plus.

FL5 is shorter and better looking in the rear - can't compare the seats without sitting in them but I'm guessing I'll prefer the FL5 seats.

So leaning FL5 for me but it wouldn't take much to sway me to the ITS.

Glad the alcantara steering wheel is supposedly not standard - had that on my 330i ZHP, it sucks.

No going to lie, this is overall an interesting looking car and the "luxury" features - including heated seats and wheel, upgraded stereo - are tempting from an FL5 owner's perspective. However, I think the FL5 feels like a fully thought out design whereas the Type S feels like a "adaptation". Given that the drivetrain largely carried over, the FL5 design really got a big investment from Honda (i.e. integrated fenders and new rear door, interior spruce up). I feel like the Type S was done with a smaller budget after the Civic and FL5 were completed. I think that's why the proportions are off a bit, and things look less cohesive (especially the interior to me). I don't think anyone will be unhappy with the Type S and I look forward to seeing them around, but after thinking about it for a day, I'm not going to run out and try to trade in my car.

I think the only thing i dont like about this is the seats. they are the exact same as my integra spec seats :( Other than that its sharp.
Agreed, but seats are probably one of the easiest and cheapest things to solve for. There's an aftermarket seat at almost every price range.

For the money they would be looking to sell for, I'd imagine getting a top tier bride or recaro etc would be cheaper, my guess anyways.

I also really like the stock seats, probably don't need aftermarket base either. But ya all comes down to price.

How well do they hold you under spirited driving? Good enough or not really?

They are ok, and you actually can sit lower in this seat than the type r. the bolsters on the base is non existent but that keeps you from rubbing them every time you get in and out lol. They hold up well enough but are ultimately for comfort.
