I watched this last night to see how the car was set up. They didn't dive deep- but even if they did I literally couldn't understand wtf the guy was saying so I would've needed it transcribed.

Was it the mic? Or is that just a British dialect that sounds like he's wearing a scarf over his mouth?

Eye opening what this car can do in the proper hands. Stiggy gave it a proper flogging and for a car that was down over 125+HP to the 550HP Golf R I'd say that's a respectable lap time. It's rubbing elbows with some pretty heavy hitter cars on that list as well. Amazing what a slow, FWD lawnmower is capable of isn't it ??

a few things to note, is that the Golf was on street tires, Michelin PS5, while the FL5 was on super sticky A052. And absolute HP delta isn't that much of a difference maker on a small twisty course like that vs the tire difference.

also, that golf is making no where near 550 hp

I agree the tire delta is huge if its ps5s vs one of the fastest 200TW tire avail, this is seconds a lap.
