I mostly lurk on the forum, primarily reading and digesting info/photos. Just read through the thread from page 1 and god damn man you don't have to continually set the bar so high for the rest of us.
Debt maxing as the kids say. I'm applying for another loan to cover the costs of my funeral.

Few more edits I wanted to share. Car feels great with the 295/30s. I'm locked in with this spacing on fitment. I feel comfortable playing around with the offset range and tire sizing to keep camber around here for now.

When I do another set of wheels it'll really depend if I can get more lip and/or a more concave face, which is what usually pushes me to ruin the car even further. Haha. I won't give away what's rolling around in my head but if I can fit 315/30/18 on an 18x11 +37 with -5.6~ on my FK8......🤔

Man I love the current stance. Really want to throw 295s on the ze40s now. I feel like that'll trump this current setup for me.

PS @COBB Tuning Any word on figuring out what's up with my tune? I'm ready to install the fuel upgrades and a downpipe is coming in a few weeks as well....I'll be finished with the motor and then throw it on an actual dyno to see what @JST Performance can really squeeze out of all the mods.

Reflashed to a test tune from @JST Performance. Took it out for a drive and was monitoring vtc-e actual and vtc-e desired and the values were matching up much better than before. I didn't have a chance to take it up highway speeds to see if it'd pop the p0014 code though I'll find out tomorrow on my way to work. Hopefully we can move forward if what JST did was the fix.

My wife was a huge vampire diaries fan for years and it still shows till this day with the sdcc bags hanging in the garage hahaha. Got some -6 Greddy hoses on the way, was waiting for restock, to finally redo some lines in the bay. Also switched to 5w30 the other day....and I forgot to measure the -8 hose lengths for the filter relocation kit I'm building. Guess I'll try to install the Cusco front brace again since I need to put the car on jacks. 😩

Installed extended studs and the AP Racing kit today.....

1320 Performance extended studs. ARPs were still out of stock everywhere when I was looking a few months back but yeah. I found these as they had good reviews from people running into the same supply issues since covid.

AP Racing CP9660/355mm BBK. Electroless nickel plating is looking sharp af. Pads....Hawk ceramics bwahaha. Super easy to swap pads so the trade off on performance to less cleaning is high value.

Reason for going with the 355mm vs 372mm.....all in the name of fitment. I only intend to run 18s for the life of the car so gotta make sure I give myself the most range of wheel types to fit with the bbk. Man....I'm seriously building this car like my gt3. I think I'm trying to make up for the lose haha. Shit is stupid but necessary. I need therapy.

Install was smooth. I made sure to start early in the morning before the heat set in. By the time I was done the garage was roasting me alive...was like 99 ranch degrees fahrenheit. 🤪 Bled the brakes with a pump kit. Oh the cap that goes on the reservoir was stuck on super tight to where I had to bust out my big clamp to twist it off.

Oh I didn't do the studs on the rear because I cross threaded one of them. Ordered a single one for $17 shipped. 🙃
