This hatchback looks a lot like audi and Mazda 3 hatchback. JS

Looking at the pictures it should be removable, the problem is more on the location of the holes as well as the size fitting. It looks like a different bumper cover on the top portion, but you never know until the part diagram is out.
The top portion could be a part of the front bumper cover just like the 10th gen, then it'd be a different bumper cover for very subtle changes.
If Honda learnt the lesson from the 10th gen, hopefully the top portion is a separate piece that attached to the grill before mounted on the bumper cover.

That grill is certainly removable, but you can see that the hatchback grill area is a lot larger than the sedan and it doesn't look like it's overlapping the bumper cover. That leads me to believe that the top portion of the bumper cover on hatchback is different from the sedan since its opening to accept the grill is significantly larger now. Honda could make the top portion of the bumper cover a separate piece like what Mazda is doing to keep the same lower bumper cover.Looking at the pictures it should be removable, the problem is more on the location of the holes as well as the size fitting.
Like what u said I guess we only know till the part diagram is out.
Hopefully we’ll have the answers when my car delivers this October.
You aren't the only one worried about that. I know VW offers BSM on all versions of the Golf. Honestly, I'd be willing to pay $500 for a 3rd party version on my 10th gen. I experienced it once and I rate it as a must-have in 2021.Prefer the hatch design over the sedan. But I’m irked that they don’t have blind spot monitoring across the line up. I know I’m in the minority but I like my lane watch.
The feature will trickle down during mid-cycle refresh as well as fog lights and heated side mirrors. It’s the Honda way.Prefer the hatch design over the sedan. But I’m irked that they don’t have blind spot monitoring across the line up. I know I’m in the minority but I like my lane watch.
Si hatch will fill that demand. So, if you're in the U.S. the sport hatch w/manual is going to be:
1. A slower non-turbo
2. Less cargo room than 10th gen
3. Smaller 7 inch infotainment compared to sport touring's 9 inch infotainment
4. Smaller version instrument cluster than the sport touring's 10 inch instrument cluster
The sport hatch doesn't seem the hatch to buy that's for sure.
I can confirm the top painted portion is separate from the bottom. And the black grill area is what holds them together.Looking at the pictures it should be removable, the problem is more on the location of the holes as well as the size fitting.

Everything I've read says the SI will only come as a sedan, the Type-R will be the sporty hatch.Si hatch will fill that demand.
