Looks like to me they have not made a decision yet. Don't they normally have something like this "Thank you for your letter. The STAC believes the Elantra N is appropriately classed in BST."

December Fastrack is out. GS and HS got reshuffled. Most notably, Elantra N is now a GS car, so RIP to Civic Si guys. It doesn't look like Civic moved to HS (only Civic Hybrid did). FL5 and GRC to DS still only got "Thank you for your feedback." Piss or get off the pot. Why delay announcing a decision? If FL5 isn't going to DS then I want to prep for BST. https://www.scca.com/downloads/78036/download

This was the final chance for the move to happen for the 2026 season.

The way its currently worded is its still on the table for 2027.

Finally have some time to process the insanity that was the Beeville ProSolo. Daniel McCelvey drove his dad's AT Supra. The moment he came up to me and said, "hello fellow B Street competitor!" I knew it was all over 😆

He was in front of me on the first morning runs so I got to watch it launch. If you didn't know, on the AT Supras the moment you push gas and brake the back end drops like 3 inches. And then when you dump the brake it cuts 1.8s like absolutely nothing. I was giving up half a second each side after 60 feet.

I'll admit - my driving was not the best on Saturday, and with all the lightning on day 2 I had no chance to try again.

I truly think that the Supra could get reclassed into A Street. McCelvey raw timed AS at this event, and I'm going to keep a very close eye on it at the rest of the national events this year. If the SAC isn't willing to put the FL5 into DS (where it honestly should be), then putting the Supra back into AS where it started (and where it honestly should be) might be the better option.

Only issue with moving the supra, is its pretty much carrying BS entries. That goes and there's not enough "other" cars people running to fil it at big events.

Maybe we have a chance at them making GS a 'Hot Hatch' class? Move us, the FK8, GRC, and other FWD/AWD turbo cars there with the Elantra and WRX. Sparks put .1 on me day 2 at the Redhills Tour

Last year at nationals, out of 51 competitors, 15 were in a Supra. AS had 31 entries.

Just a thought experiment - take those 15 in a Supra and add them to AS you get 46, makes that class pretty healthy. You are left with 36 in BS, but I know a few who have FL5s that didn't do nats because of the Supra dominance. And with the Supra out, I would bet way more people do something else in BS (either the FL5, M2, GRC, FoRS, C7).

And yes - I would assume if the Supra got put into AS that people would jump out of it.

Looking at tour/Pro entries so far this year seems like Supras are carrying the class. Each event through May would only have 3-4 drivers if the Supra moved. Still early in the year though. Also the M2 is about as fast as the Supra with the right driver and maybe course dependency. I think the FL5/GRC moving would be more effective and y'all proved it wasn't any faster than the FK8 at Lincoln last year.

At this point if we cant have DS, lets try and make GS the full Hot Hatch class and HS the economy DD Class.

Just looking at big events through end of April;
Beeville Pro 5 Drivers, 2 Supras
Redhill's Tour 10 Drivers, 6 Supras
Vegas Pro 1 6 Drivers, 3 Supras
Vegas Pro 2 7 Drivers, 3 Supras
Zmax Tour 5 Drivers 4 Supras
ATL Pro 11 Drivers, 7 Supras
Beeville Tour 5 Drivers, 1 Supra

Supra and M2 may as well be the same. Neither belong in BS and need to be nerfed.
