I've actually been following your posts lately because it seems like we tuned our cars around the same time and you went with Hondata (which I very nearly did) while I went with KTuner. Glad to hear it's still going well for you!

Tune experience notes: Took some time off work to appreciate gems in my "backyard." One of the trips was an overnight stay in Tahoe with the dogs. Really loved the tune in the cold mountain air!

Tuned Miles Driven: ~1000 (tune was installed around 600 mile mark)

Total Tuned Time: roughly 5 months

Tuning device: Hondata Flash Pro

Tune: Hondata 93 Octane Stage 2 basemap

Mods: PRL Intake, PRL intercooler, dual res delete

Issues: None

Driving Style: No track use yet. Fairly aggressive, but drive the vehicle only a few times a month.

Notes: Completely different car. Sounds terrible stock, and imo, sounds bad with a lot of the aftermarket stuff like AWE. Deleting the resonators and the tune have it sounding very, very good for a 4 cylinder (I am using the ITS pops and bangs and it’s not obnoxious, but still pops pretty nice). Power difference is very noticeable. Really should come like this stock…

I’ll keep updating at the end of every summer as I only drive occasionally it from April-October.

The factory forged wheels look so good on a black car!

Total tuned time: 14 months

Tuned miles driven:
15,000+

Tuning device used: KTuner V2.0

Tunes used: TSP Stage 1 (1 year) Drob etune (2 months)

Fuel used: 91 octane

Additional related mods: 27won gin (journal bearing), 27won 4bar, 27won CAI, 27won FMIC, 27won downpipe, prl front pipe, Magnaflow exhaust, Rv6 fk8 retro w/ exedy stage 0 clutch kit, inline pro head studs

misc - 27won snorkel, 27won FSTB, garage line 20mm spacers eibach lowering springs, prl rmm

Problems/issues: Clutch started feeling like crap after 1 year of living in TSP Stage 1 map 3 tune with frequent pulls and spirited driving. Eman said the head gasket had some wear (did proper head stud w/ new gasket and noticed some wear during install not the 1by1 method.) Spark plugs are good for another 10-20k miles. Clutch was shot

Driving style: Pulls here and there with some occasional spirited driving on highway/canyons

Tuning experience notes: The TSP stage 1 tune definitely woke the car up a bit. It actually was not fun in map 2-3 in city traffic for me personally. Outside of traffic it was fun but could still feel room for improvement.
If you intend on tuning your car please be prepared for an eventual clutch/head job to be done.

Custom Etune Drob - I added the custom etune when purchasing the 27won gin turbo with the other supporting parts (clutch, head studs, 4bar sensor). Starter tune for the gin turbo felt great once I was able to get on it after breaking in the clutch, currently on rev2 of the tune and it feels so much better than the starter tune and cannot wait until the tune is complete.

I was unable to find any videos or reviews for the most part of the 27won gin turbo so feel free to reply to this if you want any additional feedback/videos

Total tuned time: 22 months

Tuned miles driven: 20,000+ (3,000~ on e30)

Tuning device used: KTuner V2.0

Tunes used: TSP Stage 1 (1 year) (Drob 91oct 4 months) Drob flex fuel tune WIP 2 months) (local flex fuel tune 1 month)

Fuel used: e30

Additional related mods: 27won gin (journal bearing), 27won 4bar, 27won CAI, 27won FMIC, 27won downpipe, prl front pipe, Magnaflow exhaust (double resonated), Rv6 fk8 retro w/ exedy stage 0 clutch kit, inline pro head studs, prl flex fuel kit.

misc - 27won snorkel, 27won FSTB, garage line 20mm spacers eibach lowering springs, prl rmm, front lip, skirts, diffuser, indy 500v2 tires (have been great so far)

Problems/issues: None with Drobs custom tune, local tune was a different story.

Driving style: Pulls here and there with some occasional spirited driving on highway/canyons

Tuning experience notes: Drob has been great for both 91 and flex fuel tunes. I follow his instructions and have not had any issues. Currently on rev 6 of the flex fuel tune on 29psi (highest I've seen it spike). Still managed to get 40mpg on the highway which I think is impressive despite running ethanol. City mpg have dropped from 26/27 to 24/25. All maintenance has been kept up, intend on changing oil every 3,500~ miles or so. Ethanol was around $2/gal recently so this was also an amazing addition lol
