I think you meant we got the DE5 (Integra Type S) which does have parking sensors and other accoutrements that come standard on FL5s in other regions.Yanks got the FL5--
I get where you are coming from but being grateful that the dealer disclosed something they are LEGALLY obliged to do lol is not something someone should be grateful for but yes its great that some dealers are transparent. They are giving him a choice and he can walk away which is what most would do
Dealer identified lol.not in every state and usually its for things like flood and frame damage.
We agreed on a price, he ran my credit for the financing, then he decided to let me know. They are not up front at all about it. And yeah they better let me know because it's written in the law for that state they're in and mine as well. So yes fuck dealers. To make matters worse he didn't fully disclose until hours later (he suddenly became silent) after I requested more information about it. It had a collision in the parking lot. Not a "made contact" situation like they said.why fuck dealers? because they are being full disclosure with you? most dealers would not say a word about repaired damage, many people on this forum are driving around "perfect cars" that had paint or body work before it was ever sold new, happens all the time. be grateful this dealer told you up front so you could make an informed decision.
Scummy move to run credit first. Hoping to lock you in by putting an inquiry on your credit report. That could cost you some interest percentage at the next dealership. We agreed on a price, he ran my credit for the financing, then he decided to let me know. They are not up front at all about it. You arrived at a deal based on the premise that the car is NEW, which usually means there’s zero significant damage to note (not including superficial / easily fixable things like swirl marks that may have happened in transport or PDI). To also run your credit before informing you of the issue is absolutely SCUMBAG behavior. Now you need to let us know who the dealer is so we know to stay away! Name & shame! We agreed on a price, he ran my credit for the financing, then he decided to let me know. They are not up front at all about it. I agree, not right to run the credit. Also possible the salesperson didn't know and the manager sprung it on him last second. Which is a worse issue long term.We agreed on a price, he ran my credit for the financing, then he decided to let me know. They are not up front at all about it. Was about to start signing when they pulled this out on me. It "made contact with the vehicle in front of it"." Not sure if I should just take the L and walk away. It's for MSRP.. I'm buying out of state too so I can't even look at it
