JDM Euro Honda Dual Horn Set

Hi, I have a new set In the box when I had ordered the JDM red mirror caps and Suma mirror glass set. I heard that the bumper may have to be removed to install the dual horn set. Any of you folks install these ? Pic for reference.

I have the JDM Euro Horns waiting to be installed too. I did install another set of Euro Horns previously on my Sport Touring, but did not remove the bumper.

I used this video for reference to install without removing the bumper. I'm sure it'll be similar with the FL5.

I have them on my FL5, the bumper does not need to be removed to install, but it its easier to install if the bumper is removed

Here's how they sound on base Sport.

I installed Fiamm dual horns on my FR-S and they sounded like the above clip. I had the bumper off anyway to replace the intake trumpet (due to a rodent problem).

Fiamm horns were easy to source (Amazon or eBay) and much louder than the weak Subaru beep-beep horn on the FR-S. They were still going strong 9 years after install (when car was traded).

CT drivers needed honking at. Crazy amount of cell texting and/or watching videos while driving there. Less of an issue in AZ for some reason and I'm happy about that. I also ride motorcycles and saw many CT drivers using cell phones on their laps. I haven't seen that in AZ.

Wow that is.... quite convenient.

I've had some horns sitting in a box for over a year because I haven't gotten around to removing the bumper - the first time theres always a tab to break, and then after that it comes on/off easy . Good to hear bumper off isn't needed -this might actually get done.

Nice, I did not know you could do without the bumper coming off! I have a set sitting here as well, thinking I would put it in when I did an oil cooler.
