Time to buy new tires would be my 3rd set of PS4S. Looking through tire rack and can't really see anything from the stat line that's a better all a round street tire.
What are y'all rocking for your street rollers and why do you choose them.

I ordered through a local wheel and tire repair guy at Mark Motors, Boerne, TX.
Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 in 275/35ZR19 installed on the 19 x 9.5 inch Honda Forged Type R wheel. Only have 500 miles on them so far.
The new tires feel better than the Pliot Sport 4S, but I credit that to the overall taller and (barely) wider tires which hold more air than the stock tire size.

The All Season 4 tires were about $305.00 a tire as opposed to over $355.00 a tire.
I chose the Pilot Sport All Season 4 because they are a bit lower price than the Pilot Sport 4S , are built for year-round driving in Texas, and are still Michelin, so still "canon".
Don't expect a much quieter ride, though. Even in a larger size tire, the Pilot Sport All Season 4 is still a bit loud.
How much of that noise is the car vs how much is the tire?

I dunno.
It's probably the car.

Preference for all-season or Summer tire replacements? A little wider and/or taller tire on the stock wheels?

the last few sets of tires on my 07 Si FA5 were Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 225/45R17

out of all the tires I had on the FA5 in over 180K miles, these were the best (iirc I also tried Continental, Pirelli, Yokohama, Dunlop)

I do tend to be a bit rough on tires :)

my last set lasted 13K miles (street/hwy, no track), but I always got prorated credit from America's Tire, so I'll be looking for tires with 40k+ warranty...

I also intend to replace the OEM size with 275/35ZR19, and the PS AS4 would probably be my top choice

but I'll also look at others such as the DWS 06 Plus, maybe Pirelli P Zero AS Plus 3

I have the 275/35/19 PS4 AS for winter because where I'm at we get about 4 months where the temps get too low for the summers. They are my favorite A/S, even above the Conti DWS but they are a massive downgrade from the stock summer tires. If you are in SoCal why bother with A/S tires at all?

Continental DW06S Plus is tried and true. If you want a new high performance all-season, the Michelin CrossClimate 3 Sport was announced a few weeks ago. Not sure if it's available.

(3) Pilot Sport 4S OE vs "Retail" Pricing | Page 3 | CivicXI - 11th Gen Civic Type R (FL5), Hybrid, Si Forum, News, Owners, Discussions

Just pasting this here, if you order the OE tires through a Honda dealer or Honda parts online, you will find significant savings on them. The same tires can be bought for roughly 230 as opposed to 340-400ish via tire rack or tire dealers. I believe the OE tires may be slightly different than standard PS4S bought online, but if you want what you owned when you bought the car, go the Honda parts route and save yourself some money. I just saved myself 400-800 on tires.

I’ve used the Continental DW06S Plus. It offers more mileage, but I can feel that the PS4S delivers better grip in corners and under braking. The DW06S Plus will definitely last longer than the PS4S.

I feel about the same on ps4s get some heat in them and I've not felt much loss of grip on touge roads. They last me about 10 months with -4 up front and just started to ware from camber.

Better in what way? More grip? lasts longer? quieter?

agree, but I am a cheapskate and older...

more sidewall => more comfort

more sidewall => cheaper since less risk of shredding a tire on a pothole, lots of these in my area

lasts longer => cheaper per mile

45K warranty => cheaper with prorated credit. as mentioned above, the tires on my FA5 never lasted more than 20K miles, last set only 13K. so I get the next set with prorated credit (last set on my FA5 I paid about a third of price after credit)

cheaper overall

did I mention that I am a cheapskate?

I do not intend to track my car, for street driving, even aggressive/spirited driving, I believe that the PS4 AS would be good enough.

BTW, I am also a recovering perfectionist

in my ripe old age I came to realize that perfections is usually not worth pursuing, not efficient, not cheap, not necessary, etc.

good enough is usually just fine. and it is cheaper...

so why did I even buy the FL5?

I do fall off the wagon often...
