I have been saying this for 2 years, paragon pads are no good. My experience with R5 and R3 turned to bad deposits for a while. I am not the only one that has had issues. What my buddies and I think is that mismatching paragons is what might be causing the issue. Some people don’t have issues at all though so not sure what the deal is. The paragons were really recommended on this platform from the get go so every time people look at recs for a track pad they are always there I would stay away lol.Had a track day at Hedge Hollow just south of Kanas City over the weekend with HOD. Installed Paragon R7 pads on the front a few days before the event and went through Paragon's bed in procedure twice but, still ended up with pretty bad uneven pad deposits causing a rough brake peddle. Finished the day without issue as stopping power still was very good.
What the best way to clean up the rotors? Best options other than getting them turned.
as far as cleaning the deposits, best way is to get a more abrasive pad and run it for a while. I cleaned my R5s with EBC SR11, took some time but they are mostly good now. Can also hone the disc at home vs getting it turned this would work fine as well. Reason I say get a more abrasive pad is that then you can straight up use it and toss the paragons
