Alright ....
Update time
Took some detailed pictures and measurements so for those of you that want to do a little basic math.... you might be able to tell which filter has more surface area between the three of these filters
Now I have put all of these filters through 2+ tanks of gas for driving impressions, which I will break down into 3 areas of ranking's ( IMO of course ) Price, Sound/ Induction noise, MPG ... and performance... well maybe not the last area since that's not something my butt dyno can accurately assess
Filter Break down
MPG average ( 2+ tanks of gas 60/40 split driving OEM filter 27.1MPG )
K&N : 29.4 mpg
PRL : 28.1 mpg
Sprint/Spoon : 29.2 mpg
Price ( retail but can be found cheaper )
K&N : $65.00
PRL : $59.99
Sprint : $125.99
Spoon : $265.00
Sound/ Induction Noise ( the shit we all like to hear )
K&N : Quite auditable over the factory filter
PRL : Slightly quieter than the K&N filter
Sprint/Spoon : Much louder than the factory filter and slightly louder than the K&N
Overall you really can't go wrong with any of these drop in filters slight differences between them all and it pretty much comes down to personal preference on which one you want and what you are looking for whether it be value, brand, performance, price or sound
Hope this will help some of you if you are looking for drop in filters
