I have had the Sprint Filter in for a few days now and it is definitely louder than the K&N .... and the K&N was louder than the PRL for induction sounds...
Rate each and stock on a 1-10 scale please :)

I plan on it  just need a few tanks of gas on the Sprint filter and I’ll compose a comparison…

Please use decimals in your rating scale. 1.00 - 10.00 Thanks in advance.
LOL:rofl: I’ll try and keep it as simple as easy to understand …
1.98765 sound
2.28341 MPG
1.69680 price

that’s what I might do:drive::wave:

Dear JDM_DOHC_SiR,

This sounds great. I’m happy we’re in alignment. We of the Civic XI community need and appreciate accuracy with your comprehensive ratings and look forward to the results. With this in mind, feel free to round up one decimal place if you think it might help you complete your full, professionally proof read, published, and hard bound report by the end of the year. I suggest red alcantara for the cover material for the first 500 copies plus ADM.

Thanks again in advance,
TypeRD

P.S.

Nice dude. It sounds crazy but I think I'm going to do the crazy expensive sprint filter. I mean it's three times the flow. How can it not be louder and more power? :D
The Madness Autoworks website describes the F1 filter has being better at filtration and air flow.

“Efficiency Filtration

The Sprint Filter polyester air filters retain 93.13% of 100 μ particles (Sprint Filter P08 air filter) - 91.8% of 37 μ particles (Sprint Filter P037 air filter) - 95.22% of 100 μ particles (Sprint Filter P08F1-85 air filter) versus the 76.42% of a common 4-layer oil-soaked cotton air filter (https://madnessautoworks.com/start-shopping/performance-upgrades-madness?product_id=300015783).”

Have we confirmed that the K&N # 33-2454 is the proper fit on the FL5? Thinking about picking it up but I wasn't sure if K&N has cleared it or if we're waiting for a version explicitly for the FL5.

I put one in. Car goes whoosh whoosh and isn’t broken a month later. GTG

In all seriousness though someone in this forum measured one or two of them vs the stock filter if I recall correctly and the differences seemed too minimal to matter.

Just FYI

Madness Autoworks has sold out of the F1 filters for the 2023 Type R. A re-supply is anticipated in late April-to-early May.
