yeah I am considering just getting the 1.11s. I had never heard of GSG but will look at them. They seem to be a mid ground btw the ferodos ($1000+ for set) and the Paragons ($450 for the set). I am just so damn curious about the Endless, they are $350. But I am with you rather pay more and have what I want but if I haven't tried a few then its hard to know so might take the gamble on them.

I sanded the pads, was too lazy to remove rotors and hone them but maybe I will have to do it if next day I get crazy shaking again.
You dont need to take out the rotors. Just turn it (rotate) and sand in to out one spot at a time. It worked for me.

I'm a big fan of the DS3.12's, but they are very expensive. I also really like the Paragon offerings. I've used R5 and R7, and find that they all modulate quite well.

Ordered the ME20 from black hawk japan. Got an email saying they are made to order lol and will take over a month to come. I dunno why websites don't put that on their product pages. So cancelled and might give the CSG C21 a try as recommended by CSG. Might keep the R3s in the back and see how that does, if I feel like its inadequate I will get the C11 for the back

Are your Paragon R3s noisy? I recently put them on the front and they squeal a lot in normal traffic stops. I likely need to re-bed them but wanted to see what another user's experience was.

Based on Paragon's info, they are supposed to be in a class similar to the Ferodo DS2500 pads I have used in the past. Those would squeal a little (usually only when it was cold out), but we're pretty quiet overall.
I run the R5 on the front for track and Autocross sessions and swap to the P3 for daily use. I can tell you that I reached out to Paragon because mine weee so noisy. They said the pads are meant to get up to temp to not squeal, so daily driving will have some annoyances.

I found if you buy some BG’s pad anti squeal, soak the pads about 3-4 times and wait for them to dry in between each coating, there is little to no noise at all on either pad. It’s recommended to apply BG’s every 6k-8k miles if noise becomes an issue again.

Mine were so bad I thought something was wrong and had a brake shop try to look into why they were so loud. They couldn’t find anything. The weird part was mine were squealing when my foot was off the brakes, when I applied the brakes the squealing bf would stop.

I would say run what pad you like the feel of and just add some BG’s to them. It doesn’t take away from the performance of the pad at all. I’ve used mine at Sebring International Speedway, Barber Motorsports Park, and several Autocross sessions. The only grip I really have with the Paragon pads right now is they are losing life fast. Two track days and four Autocross sessions on these pads and they are over half way gone.

I also run the P3 pads on the rear full time. They do generate a significant amount of dust compared to the stock pads. The R5’s make my bronze wheels black in about 30-45 minutes even on the street.

If your running R5 pads, I have a recommendation if you are new to this type of pad. Make sure you upgrade to stainless steel brake and clutch lines and run RBF600 or higher. When on track my brake light will come on because the fluid is around 550-600 degrees. My brakes will overheat before the car will. I run the Paragon temp strips on my calipers to keep an eye on them.

I’m currently working on a better brake duct system to cool the brakes better for track use. If anyone is having this same issue, I’ll create a thread of what I come up with. Going back to Sebring in October and can test it out.

You can get the BG’s pad solution off Amazon for around $12-$20 a bottle. One bottle last a good while. If you have never used that stuff, wear gloves and make sure you do it outside and on a cardboard box you can throw away afterwards.

fyi the brake light is to be ignored on track if you have upgraded fluid. Basically 2/3 laps and the light will turn on
