I am having difficult time finding an ET60 wheel that is confirmed to fit the FL5.I had custom 18x9.5 ET60 wheels made and I had them put on my FL5 last week. Steering feel is just as good as stock, torque steer is just as nonexistent, and powering out of corners is so smooth and stable with very precise steering. Just point and squeeze. It's amazing, just like stock.
I previously had an FK8 and even with ET53 on that car I noticed some torque steer compared to stock and some magic lost compared to stock when powering out of corners. Not bad at all with just ET53, but slightly noticeable. I'd have to add minor inputs to the steering to power out of corners, due to torque steer, instead of just feeling the road and lateral forces and grip. So for the fussy driving feel people, I'd say custom ET60 wheels are worth it.
Obviously, this is just a feel thing, to honor the engineering Honda put into the front suspension, specifically the dual axis strut that features drastically reduced "center offset." See here to understand what Honda put into the front suspension to banish torque steer: https://global.honda/en/tech/Dual_Axis_Strut_Suspension/
Even ET53 kinda makes all that work Honda did kinda pointless, imho, but +53 is way better than +45 or +38.

This doesn't effect lap times and if you keep a strong hand on the wheel the majority of people might not even notice, just reporting that I did notice and I'm very happy with the results of ET60 wheels.
Where did you get your custom wheels made?
