I'm about to order BBA RIA's, anyone know the pro's and cons of ordering 18x9.5 ET40 or 18x9.5 ET50? I think the car above is ET50 but I'm wondering will ET40 have more concave so it'll look better?

I plan to run 265's and lower on Swift springs so would appreciate no rubbing but wonder which one will look better.
The ET40 will look a bit better!

Do you think there will be rubbing issues on ET40 with 265’s and a mild spring drop?
We would shoot for a 265/35 and should be okay. A 40-series may have some issues.

I thought the 18x9.5 +45 Saga SL was only available in Face 3. Has this changed?

I think the Saga SL comes in face-4 but is only in pressed graphite, where-as the Saga S-Plus is face-3 but you can get different colorways

FL5 11th Gen Civic Type R with Rays Engineering Volk TE37 18x9.5 +45 5x120 with a 265/35/18 tire. It looks like our TE37SL in 18x9.5 +45 5x120 will be a perfect fit and will boast concave face while maintaining adequate brake clearance on the new Type R.
My Rallye Red CTR is on the way in a few weeks, and I started looking at 18"s because the 19"s are going to be a problem on New England roads on a daily, which my CTR will be. I came across this thread and the post on your website — some excellent photos and info. But I have a question I don't see anyone asking or addressing, at least not in this thread.

The +45 of the TE37SLs will make them more flush than the OEM 19"s +60, but that means a 15mm wider track. Looks-wise, it's fine, but I'm not sure how this may affect the handling and steering feel, as well as put more wear and tear on the bearings. Messing with the scrub radius can impact handling and also lessen the dampening effect. What are your thoughts? Seems there are no +60 18" wheels around.

BBS has a +50 or +52.

I haven't seen any complaints and a lot of this stuff has been considered from the FK8. I would be interested to know however.

Yes, but the FL5 has a different suspension tuning, and the dampers will work harder. But yeah, curious.

Another option, for more comfort and rim protection from bad roads, is to put 265/35R19s on the OEM 19" wheels. This will have the exact same extra sidewall height as a 265/35R18 on the 18" wheel, but keep the OEM geometry intact, as well as the OEM look if you like that wheel. Downsides? Tires are 1lb more each and the speedo will be a bit affected by 4%.
