I just did my first day with the SR11 and I am a fan. The bite is strong for sure and less modulation than the R5 pads but they get better when they are hot. No fade what so ever, strong bite and my juddering issue is much better. Still there once in a while and probably my deposits are just bad enough that the solution is new rotors but its so much better than before that i am just going to keep using them and see if it will fix on its own.
But yeah definitely a fan of the SR11 pad so thanks to whoever recommended it. People usually talk trash on EBC but at least this new compound is nice, also affordable.

Also these pads squeal so much less than the paragon R5. They still squeel on the street here and there but no where near as much or as loud

I think that was me 😂 I didn't want to spend $400+ on front pads and sr11 seemed like they would be fine on street and track. I may get another set when I buy my rear pads.

I think it was you and then some one else also recommended them. Definitely excellent for $240 which is what I think I paid for them. Wish they made the rears too, I usually like to run same compound in back but had paragon R3s out back and they were adequate, will probably do EBC blue back there when the paragons are done, probably will be similar.

But yeah I am impressed for sure, at first coming from the R5s was sketchy because the bite (don't want to over brake a upset the car) but after I got used to it I remembered how I much prefer to have an initial stronger bite. It feels a lot more similar to the setup on my M2 with the BBK and ferodo 1.11 (that was still a bit better but I am content with this setup).

They are totally fine on the street for me, I don't drive the car all that much but on the few weekend runs I have done its mostly quite and like I said easily half as much noise as the R5, those were pretty noisy to me, always squeeling at any speed I was braking, these you basically just get at slow speeds sometimes when you are slowing down

I also prefer strong initial bite. I'm running blue in the rear but may look at the rp-1 or rp-x next set to try something new. The blues are a little noisy on track so I can always tell when rear brake vectoring/vsa is happening on track 😀

oh yeah totally forgot they got that line of pads too.

oh also forgot to mention, the SR11s the bedding is pretty easy as they say. I did more than they mentioned cuz was trying to get rid of deposits but they pads felt fine basically as soon as they were installed

Just washed the car from yesterday, filthy and of course tons of rubber marks.
I have been using this product for a couple of years and its awesome. Spray on the rubber mark then wait a a few secs and rubs away. Works wonders, fine on ceramic coating.

its excellent, rubber comes right out and unlike some other sprays it won't mess up a ceramic coat (which I don't currently have on this car but I know a lot of people do)

I think he woulda need to remove the hole damn hood to get acceptable temps
I'd run as intended, collect the data, and go from there..... just me. YMMV

Occluding the hood vent has a potentially significant effect.
