I can also say: I have read every page of every vehicle owners manual I have had including the motorbikes. The CBRs bothered me the most with the frequent valve lashing recommendations.

It's out of the factory service manual for the FL5. There is not a car listed on these specific pages.Where does it state what car this is for?..it should be on the page? Correct?
As the OP you can edit the thread title as well. I would recommend doing that as 80 is not correct and you don’t want people following that info.Yup, my local dealer’s regional rep confirmed the USA owners manual is incorrect and has the standard Civic torque listed; should have had a note for Type R specific torque of 94. I edited the first post so hopefully people see it.
Call Honda Corporate so they know to fix it in next print or notify owners so they don't get killed!good call, I did just that!
I just went through the whole manual and it doesn't show the torque specs for the brake bleeder valves for bleeding brakes. On the FK8 is was 10ftlbs. Im assuming its the same since apparently the brakes are identicalFL5 Torque Specs:
