No way G&G car has 400 lb-ft of torque. Numbers seem inflated. Also they said that I had dynoed that car previously, but I didn't have that car long enough to, so not sure where they got that before dyno

It's Cobb tuned now, so I think that is based on his Dyno results with Cobb.

Agreed, I don't see how it could possibly make that much torque with those mods, at least not safely.

I had to go back and watch - it didn't make 400lb-ft, it made 356lb-ft, but he's applying some correction maths due to this dyno "reading low" (based on your previous dyno, which you didn't do apparently lol).

Only thing I don't like is that everyone uses PRL intercooler to base the comparison test against. I've been in talks with both pwr and Rv6 for months about the intercoolers. I'm interested in the tube and fin design. However Pwr for some reason is certain that the bar and plate they have is superior to even there own tube and fin intercooler. I'd love to see a test between Rv6 and pwr intercooler.

There's something different with PWR's than your typical bar and plate. It also weighs less than the RV6 being bar and plate -- I believe it matches the weight of the J's at 12lbs.

From what the guy at pwr told me is there is a 1lb difference between pwr b/p vs t/f they make in Australia.

Right, but typically Tube and Fin is lighter than Bar and Plate. Look at how heavy the PRL B&P is -- it's like 26lbs. The RV6 T&F is 16.5. The PWR B&P is 12.

It was just a comment saying the PWR B&P is not your run of the mill B&P option.

So it sounds like what we're all saying is that bar and plate intercoolers are like the girl you bring home from the dive bar after 12 beers, and the tube and fin is the chick that you meet with your church group at a pumpkin patch?
