I plan to get the RV6 which means my PRL will be available. I'll sell it to you for cheap. Something is better than nothing!
Why the switch to the rv6? Just more efficient for your specific build? I have no plans of upgrading my turbo in the future so I'm guessing the PRL would be fine for a long while.

Bar & Plate vs. Tube & Fin | WAGNERTUNING.com -

"Once it (bar and plate) has warmed up, however, it is difficult to get rid of this thermal energy. The main application of a Bar & Plate is generally in the industrial sector. For vehicles with rapid load changes and higher requirements, the Tube & Fin concept is increasingly the preferred option."

I would do it before the May event. I torture tested the car without an intercooler, and it led to knock and zero timing. My IAT's were ridiculous. The factory intercooler heat soaks incredibly fast. Looks like the RV6 is going to be available soon!
Any rough specs on it? Size vs OEM, etc??

It would be nice to see a quality tube & fin option that doesnt gobble up the entire air path to the radiator (wagner)

For the RV6 intercooler? 27.375” width x 7.0” height x 4.0” depth.

• 16.4 lbs for RV6 tube and fin
• 22.6 lbs for PRL bar and plate (currently on car”
• 7.0 lbs for OEM FL5/DE5 bar and plate

Not sure, but it appears to be the size of the PRL unit.

Only thing I don't like is that everyone uses PRL intercooler to base the comparison test against. I've been in talks with both pwr and Rv6 for months about the intercoolers. I'm interested in the tube and fin design. However Pwr for some reason is certain that the bar and plate they have is superior to even there own tube and fin intercooler. I'd love to see a test between Rv6 and pwr intercooler.

I did technically beat Ben Thorn by 4 tenths of second with my PRL intercooler ;)
