they are but make sure the size is the correct one, I just linked that brand and not a specific size that works.

i think the rears might be longer.

yeah its 150 for a 4 pack and then 30 a pop so another 60 for the rears. + 20 for 2 extra caps.

I probably just buy 6 with no caps

I have a dilemma. I was told to travel to the VIR 3 day track event with a spare front and rear rotor and pads. Pads I have. As for the rotors, the cost effective way seems to be buying 1 OEM front rotor and 1 OEM rear rotor.

However, I’m tempted to buy the Girodisc that was recommended by @J1Avs . But with the Girodisc, the future “save” seems small. The upfront cost is higher.

What to do?

Can we talk spares/extra parts for a moment? Thinking about VIR - 10-11 hour drive for me. Expensive weekend!

I'm thinking about bringing the following to make sure I have easy to change items that may ruin a weekend:

Fluids - all the obvious - oil, brake fluid, means of changing brake fluid
Brake Pads - think this is necessary? I'm thinking an extra set F/R just in case? Small enough to pack
Wheels/Tires - I'll bring 1 spare just because it's a long drive. But I'm thinking of bringing my set of PS4S in case of a rain day. I don't want to sit in the paddock ?
Tools - my normal assortment including floor jack

This isn't a long list - should I plan on anything else? I'm not bringing my easy-up, so I have plenty of room.

@TW00Si @svvitch I live close to VIR and can bring spares for you guys. I do have a spare set of factory rotors (front and rear). They are pretty smoked, but will suffice for a return drive should something CrAzY happen. I also have a spare set of basically brand new factory brake pads (front and rear). I also bring tools with me to the track that can be shared communally, though I doubt there will really be that much that you are in need of. If you change your brake fluid to Castrol SRF prior to the event, or if you already have it, then you shouldn't need to touch your brake fluid at all. It is also possible for brake pads to last for an entire 3 days with some pad to spare at the end. You guys are new to the track so I can't imagine you're going to be attacking the track 10/10ths right out of the gate, which will inevitably "save" your pads.

Leave the floor jack at the house!
Leave the fluids at the house (the race shop has all of this stuff if you are in dire need)
Leave the tools at the house!
