My low fuel light came on at the track before but that’s before I was getting ready to line up. Didn’t get those codes. So when on track and the car is low on fuel, these codes pop up?
Usually it's a fuel rail pressure code, but I wouldn't be shocked if this meant the same thing. Just depends on what the computer interprets at the moment of the event.

Y'all are on the track with full tanks of fuel? If below half you throw codes?

Good ole fuel starvation. Basically don't go out on track with less than half a tank (and even then).

Why I hate this gauge cuz when I got into the pits first time it said was almost full. Then started the next session and was almost at half. It was fine but now I try to fill it up every few sessions depending on how long sessions are.

I'll hit Fuel Starve after 2 sessions -- about 8 gallons used -- in high G, on throttle, right handers.

I always run full or near full tank. The weight difference isn't helping any set a PB here -- taking a poop before your session will do the same ?

How long are track sessions ? for the people who do TA are you still running with a full tank?
What about upgrade the tank for a fuel cell ?

Sessions are btw 20 to 30 min so no need to put a fuel cell

TA you only need one lap, BUT you can't run it low for any weight savings.

Sorry I don't get good service there because the track is in the boonies, its a pain in the ass to use my phone. Thanks @BigBird and @PointByPatrol! I saw their messages and immediately booked it to the gas station?

Yes the codes can be cleared. It actually happened a second time when I let a car coach drive the car, and the scanner cleared it fine, I went out after and pounded the car after with no issues.

You will hear the turbo surge loudly and about 2 minutes later it'll happen. I have a RAM AIR intake so the turbo is really loud, but that turbo surge is a distinct sound.

I just got back home and yes everything went extremely well. The instructor was extremely impressed with me and said he had a 'proud parent moment' lol. He said that there's nothing really that he can offer, I have the speed, I just need practice and refine. He said that I can sign up for the intermediate group now lol.

The Hankook RS4 with the Apex wheels were amazing, I felt like I had grip for days and it increased my confidence. I was really pushing the car as much as I could. I got commendations from a few other drivers on the track. I made some friends there. I was able to pass up some good cars including a S197 GT Race car.

I cant get the LogR to work so my next step would be to look into getting a Garmin just so I can track my laps. Its an open track day will loose track of how long I'm out there.

It was in the mid 60s today, and all of my temps were good. Highest Oil temp I saw was 265F.

Im just glad I didnt have to tow my car again. Im really enjoying this. I really am considering selling my GT350 and getting a Camaro SS1LE to have as a secondary track car. My next date is the 22nd of February.

Dont have any pictures today sadly lol.

love it, glad you had a blast!

there is a reason they call 200tw cheater tires, the first time using them it blows your mind how much more grip you have. The RS4s also are nice cuz they are very consistent lap after lap. Next tires try something even better and you will again be impressed (not as much but will give you another second per lap).

SS1LE sounds fun that was on my list if I had done a 2 car solution.

I never had a low fuel light come on. I always filled up before going on for the first time. But yeah seems like these codes will come on when you are pushing the car hard

I don't think the fuel tank is the problem. The fuel capacity is 12.4 gallons. I've had the check engine light come and put ~ 8 gallons and the 2nd time it was ~ 2 gallons. The problem is that there is a mismatch with sensors that run the fuel gauge and the sensors that monitor the fuel tank.

Unless you do extensive modifying, I don't think just adding a fuel cell alone would fix the problem.
