Daymmm, that’s SICK. If they bring it to market as shown, that’ll be a $70k car…and worth it. The ADM will be ridiculous.

The 6-piston caliper would be nice if it's available for purchase for a reasonable price

My guess is there's not a chance they bring it to market, at least not in volume. And it won't be $70k, it will be $150k+.

Unless they're trying to do something new with bringing HRC into the fold of the larger brand like Subaru STi, Toyota TRD, Ford SVT, etc., I see this as either a showcase car for OEM+ parts, or a turnkey race car like other manufacturers do with their GT4 programs.

But it sure does give us a lot to talk about. I also like the yellow, although I'd never buy a car that color. The hood and splitter are amazing. I want to hear more about the suspension and engine parts.

I agree. Maybe some of these parts that work on the FL5 become Modulo parts offered as accessories. That’s if any of these parts are available to us.

Wow this looks amazing. My assumption is that since they are doing this, they aren't going to do one for the Type R, this is probably going to be the 'FL5 LE' of this generation.

Really regret not going to the TC America Sebring this year, but it seems like this is basically the street version of it. Looks really cool though. Yellow looks better than the typical Phoenix yellow too.

This is honestly how it should be kinda crazy the OEMs will sell gimped 'track ready' cars and not offer the parts that the car needs to be truly track ready thats on race variant.

I remember asking HRC (was HPD) about the FK8 TC and where to buy some of the parts like the oil coolers and radiator, and they were really adamant about not selling the parts unless you were the owner of a team.

I know Toyota is guilty of this as well to an extent with the oil starvation issues. You cant get the oil pan thats on the GR86 Cup cars. I dont know why they are so stingy, it seems like its a no brainer and win for them

Nah. I still think there will be an FL5 LE. I believe this is just a special send-off for the last purely ICE Integra. It’ll probably list for around $70k. Integras were never Porsche GT car money. I’m sure dealerships will ADM them near $100k though.

I like that they used the Base-model hatch (without the duckbill spoiler) but curious to see how the wing is integrated. Nice hood design, and great color too!

I want that wing and hood for my DE5. Annoying that there's holes where the decklid spoiler is though so that's something to deal with.

70k? lol no way, something like this would be closer to 90-100k, its got way too many changes to just be 18k more than a Type S. The seats alone look like Recaro podium which are almost like 4 grand a pop. All the extra other stuff and the fact that it will be seriously limited, it will be way more than 70k.

Personally i doubt they will be releasing this car at all. Its very cool but I think they are probably taking a page out of BMW performance part business and will be selling some of the parts separately

It wont be +$150k lol. They already have a turn key race car variant of this and its less than that ($120k). Its two steps below a GT4 (GT4 > TCR > TC) so its a bit cheaper and more close to the roading going ITS. If they ever do sell this my guess would be that it would around $70k or $80k. If they ever decide to make it a production car it'll basically be the street legal variant of the TCX Race car.

I made a post about the car and you can look at the brochure here and here to get an idea of what modifications that will be done to the suspension and engine. Not much is done to the engine.

I'm not really sure exactly what their plans are with doing this was. My hope is that they are trying to amp up their parts catalog and make it easier for customers to buy racing parts similar to what Mazda or Ford Performance has with their cars. Offer the production car but till give owners the ability to purchase parts from HRC. With the FK8 you couldn't buy parts or 'upgrades' that the FK8 TC has without being part of a race team.

Just when I finished paying off my CTR now they release this lol 😭

I'll just take the wheels. Please and thank you. (yes, I realize these just look like a T-S5 with HRC engraving ... stock offset would make them SCCA street class legal though).
