I am looking at the 2027 (maybe 2028?) CTR HRC (hopefully, if not, regular R with some parts counter love). Everything about it, including multiple test drives, has me feeling like this car is the one I want. Neither CTR had any grinding that was driven, both '25. However, I keep reading about it. I want to leave the car strinctly stock+Tint/PPF. Did Honda silently improve/fix the grinding transmission, or are these just tools that can't drive? I know my grandpa once went on a ride with a friend of his who owned an E46 M3 (wonderful gearbox), and complained that his friend was prone to grinding the gears, so driver certainly can play a part, but I also owned a 2012 370Z, and 1-2 on a rainy day would ALWAYS grind the first shift of the day. Fine after. Also fine on days it wasn't rainy or super humid (I have no clue why, to this day, and it wasn't temperature dependent).
