Famous last words lol
It's a quick install *until you destroy that goofy 1-time-use hose clamp on the intake for the breather hose and don't have quite the right size in your garage inventory, and need to run to O'Vance Autopartszone, and then it's about double the time it should be. ?

getting harder for me to not buy some crap, trying to not buy the intake but I might have to get the RMM while I buy the ball joints in the next few days here.

Also buy adjacent parts since you’re doing install on RMM, good time to upgrade the front pipe. But if you’re doing front pipe, consider the down pipe and exhaust.

After TT Nationals I installed the Hasport RMM in 70A as well (which may be stiffer than you were considering) and the added NVH was noticeable, although I've heard it gets a little better over time. I did expect some added vibrations but there's a bit of a faint whining resonance at ~65mph that comes and goes with speed.

It definitely feels better shifting-wise though - feels snappier/crisper, and overall I'm sure I'll be happy that I did it.

Its not my daily driver so I could probably do something stiffer but I think I probably should just stick with the 62. I was going to omit this mod but would love some better shifter, specially from 1st to 2nd

I did the PRL one, but I don't think it did enough, well for my standards and what I was expecting. I am getting really old fast, and ordered the Hasport 70a one and received it, but taking off the front pipe is not something I want to do right now, I have an exhaust, so it's not a easy swap any longer. And not sure if I want the additional vibrations since it is my daily.

yeah this is what I am afraid of, install this and barely does anything but add NVH.

For me I really only noticed any significant vibration changes on startup while cranking but there is more general low frequency noise that comes into the cabin coupled with the resonance (it sounds a bit like what gear whine sounds like to me).

I've heard people say that after 500mi or so it mellows out (I'm around 200mi I'd estimate), but I think most people do the 62A - not sure how different that would be.

FWIW, after too many years of loud cars my ears are prone to irritation / cottonball in the ear feeling, and I also was an NVH evaluator in a past life, so I'm probably more sensitive to this than most I suspect. I'll probably be sticking with the stock catback downstream of the front pipe for that reason. My last few cars I've commuted to the track with concert ear plugs in (even with what most people would consider to be fairly mild exhausts), which is annoying.

My Hasport 62 RMM is still sitting on the shelf to go in with the new turbo and down pipe blanket. Still not sure if I want to put it in since it’s the family car. NVH is subjective.

I have the 27won 70 RMM and it's introduced a decent amount of NVH. I'm thinking of downgrading.
