So it sounds like what we're all saying is that bar and plate intercoolers are like the girl you bring home from the dive bar after 12 beers, and the tube and fin is the chick that you meet with your church group at a pumpkin patch?
I lost my virginity to a catholic school girl who was in church on Sunday. They still know how to party lol

Unrelated question: CEL after PRL intake install. Think I just need an adjustment to my tune? There is currently 1.5" of ice so it won't be anytime soon.

Oddly no code when I open flashpro which is odd. CEL is illuminated and no code or stored code. Maybe I'm dumb and I'm doing it wrong. I'll try again tonight.

Did you make sure to reconnect the MAF sensor? Double check to make sure its seated properly. It throws an immediate code if not.

Intakes usually don't need an adjustment. Just make sure everything is plugged in that should be.

I hope I didn't mess up the MAF wiring when removing it from the bracket or the wire loom. Easy enough to test continuity though if I need to.

I never retuned when I did mine and I didn't have any issues. Did you have the battery disconnected when you did the install?

I would do it before the May event. I torture tested the car without an intercooler, and it led to knock and zero timing. My IAT's were ridiculous. The factory intercooler heat soaks incredibly fast. Looks like the RV6 is going to be available soon!
Wait I thought the stock intercooler was better since thats what the race cars use. The PRL intercooler blocks flow to the radiator right?

Why would getting a better radiator require you to upgrade the intercooler?

He's saying his IATs are too high and that's directly related to intercooler, as radiator is taken care of.
