Had a track day last week at Sebring Raceway with highs of 55 degrees and very windy. 3 laps in, I was at 205 degrees coolant and 235 degrees oil temps while short shifting and coasting on straights.

Since then I’ve purchased a HEL oil cooler and now want to pick a radiator to just assist a little more. I’m trying to not ball out if possible.

Options, total cost:
Koyorad: $470 shipped
CSF: $740 shipped
PWR Street: $970 shipped

At this point, I’m not willing to spend $2,000 on the amazing WOT triple pass.

I’ve read of 2 people saying their Koyorad radiator failed, none for CSF or PWR.

I’m really leaning to CSF or Koyorad, is CSF that much better or are they very similar? Is PWR street worth it over those two?

My current mods: PRL intake, PRL intercooler, PRL RMM, PRL coolant tank, TSP downpipe, tuned.
How occasional are we talking?

From what I gather, not as consistently as you but more so than the average FL5 owner

Gotta love a good sale
Love a great sale!

I went for the first time November 2025. Got all my cooling mods and went back March 2026.

Going back in April and June, weather permitting.

So 4 times in 8 months is roughly every other month.

So your oil temperatures are within normal driving parameters 190-210. The coolant was a few degrees higher than normal operating temperatures.

I track quite a bit, not yet with the FL5, but never had any issues with overheating. Ran 30 laps with my TLX Type S. And it was pretty hard! The brakes were shot lol

i ended up making a ton of changes to my setup including a CSF radiator and I was able to run all out for a 20 minute sessions in 87 degree Florida heat.

Bump! My car is a stock daily that see's 6x HPDE per year, each with 7x20 min sessions. How are you liking the CSF midway through the season?

March: 88 degrees at Sebring and no overheating or cool down laps.

June: 91 degrees at Daytona and no overheating or cool down laps.

Since the CSF radiator I’ve only hit 231 degrees coolant temps a couple of times at the end of long straight aways near the end of sessions but literally by the time I brake at the end of the straight away and come out of that turn, coolant temps are back down to 214-216 degrees. Literally cools down in seconds.

I was hitting 140mph at Daytona on the long front stretch and holding there because of the wind on the banking. My hood was jumping so hard that I thought it was gonna hit my windshield. So if I was to of keep going WOT for higher speeds I COULD have possibly got deep into the 230s coolant temps. But it was 91 degrees out which I would never do again… it was miserably hot out and no shade.

Thank you for the reply! I think I will go with the CSF rad too

Perfect thank you. In an ideal world I’d love the PWR Track or PWR WOT spec, but in Canada the price gap between CSF and WOT is substantial unfortunately

When I was shopping for a radiator I noticed the PWR and the CSF were the same dimensions and was told by someone that they’re the same cores, although I can’t confirm that.

Also there is nothing on PWRs product pages that state what exactly is different between their 3 radiators other then the one being triple pass. And when I called they couldn’t really explain a design difference either between the two on why one was better then the other.

I would have went PWR if the price was closer but I think I paid $675 shipped around Black Friday and PWR starts at $1100 plus tax.
