Wow thats really nice. The pictures help but without much context it'll be pretty hard for me to decipher what's going on. I definitely would need a guide or a set of instructions lol.

That's a really clean setup though and seems like it requires no drilling
No drilling. And yeah I agree there could be more info, but I'm always available to answer whatever questions a person has. Just pm me and I'll give you whatever info I can.

Does the oil temp gauge take in account the oil weight as well? Like if you have a thinner oil like 0W-20 vs a thicker one like 5W-30 does LogR account for that?
The algorithm the ECU uses to estimate oil temp is independent of oil weight. It's just a function of ECT1 and ambient air temperature. I'm using 5w30 and found the LogR value to be surprisingly accurate.

Did use a any videos as a reference? I did a quick search online and really didn't find any DIY guides

As Jason mentioned, the hardest part is routing the wiring into the cabin. I used the big grommet near the clutch pedal.

Anyone have any close up pics of where you have cut into which coolant line to the heater matrix to plumb in the secondary radiator. I'm making up a DIY solution for myself. Will report back on how i go eventually, but its early days. Also any idea on the internal diameter of the coolant hose pipes that need to be plumbed into. Want to get some adaptors that are the correct size.

On the fk8 it was this hose, so it should be the same on the fl5. It's a 5/8 hose

are you planning to do a track test to see what kind of improvement your kit makes to the oil temp ??

Yes but it will likely be in the fall. The dual set up was massively effective on my fk8, and I think this set up might be even better given the ducting and how it focuses the air so much more.

I will also be installing my front mounted secondary radiator as I think it's equally important. All along my plan has been to recreate my fk8 set up and here soon we should have that in place.

Nice job mate.

As a suggestion for fender liner openings, on my previous FK9 (EUDM 10th gen turbodiesel) the intercooler was side mounted below the left headlight and there was a nice and effective vent.
It should be easily adaptable to any liner, I guess.

Do you have a part number for this vent by chance?
