There’s a quick release? I just use the regular post. Sometimes I do struggle to unclip from the helmet. Then I get a little antsy and claustrophobic. My fingers gets sweaty and then I really have a hard time unclipping where I’m ready to yank the helmet off…

I don't have a HANS, but most everyone I know, even with the quick release, just removes their helmet and HANS as one.

Those of you running the Hybrid S HANS device - is the quick release worth it? I've read mixed reviews. Thinking of just doing the standard M6 post style release.
I've had both I like the standard IMO.

I hate it and regret getting it. It's easy to get off, impossible to get on. I'd rather be able to easily attach so I don't have to get in the Hybrid S + Helmet in one awkward moment.

So no problem removing when attached but easier to attach to helmet once both are being worn and then just use the standard post connections? ?

Quick Release -- Easy to Release. Hard to Attach off Body. Impossible to Attach on Body. Requires you to fully assemble to helmet, prior to you putting your helmet on.

Hans Anchor -- Not impossible to put on when helmet is on.

I don't recommend buying the Quick Release

Lol thank you I think everything is difficult for me to comprehend tonight. I only had 9 customer facing meetings today ?‍♂ I used up all my words for the day.

I leave mine attached and do the awkward dance. I've gotten pretty good at it though!

Track liability/damage question: Anyone know how to get a listing of how much tracks charge for cleanup/restoration? Such as oil cleanup, barrier damage cost, tire wall cost?

I had heard places like Barber MSP even charge for grass restoration if you have an off and leave marks in the grass.

I doubt there is any central listing of this, may have to reach out to each track on my own.

Seems pretty barbaric to charge for grass restoration. VIR is beautifully maintained, but they will not charge you if you put ruts in the grass from an off. I am aware that they charge something like $20 per bag for oil dry, and $40 per fire extinguisher, but I'm not sure how much they charge for repairs to tire walls or guard rails.

I certainly don't want to stir up the 1% exception, but was thinking about risk this morning. That's all.

Thankfully most track insurances cover most of these charges, well I guess after you cover the deductible probably
