i mean even this car has some black cut outs (not my photo)
They at least fixed the angles. The original design looked like they were made by a blind person with how awfully they didn't match the body lines. I still think they stick out a bit too far, and I'd much rather a gloss black than carbon fiber finish (but that's a personal preference).

The data coming out of it seems good -- but likely overkill for me in my region.

BTW if anyone does go the 1 piece rotor blanks, DO NOT get any with the weather coating on it. It will effectively mess your pads for a while.

Doh! I’ll throw them on the brake lathe and hit them with the honing disc before I put them on the car.

I just picked up a lightly modified CTR yesterday that will see limited track time (unless I enjoy it more than my GT4). I’m just starting to wade through the 200 pages of this thread to learn about the car and how to set it up for track duty. I’ve been doing track days and autocrossing since 1974, so I’m not new to the game, but all of the electronic wizardry on this car is a bit intimidating for a guy that used a slide rule in college!

Basically you when you go on track go into +R and long press the TC Off button until you hear a double click.

Dont trust the fuel guage, fill up before and after each session :)

Also welcome, and I love the GT4. Thats going to be my next car

I see you may not be that far from VIR. A group of us are headed there memorial Day weekend with TSCC. Plenty of space left to register. Come beat up on actual GT3s with the FWD GT3 😂

Cancel that one and come out with us instead!
Thanks for the invite, but I need to spend some quality time under the car before I take on VIR or RdAtl. I’m prepping the Porsche for that one. I’ll do a one-day shakedown day in the CTR at Roebling or CMP first. It should be good to go, other than tires. I’ve been binge watching your videos in the meantime….
