Choosing a radiator for occasional track days, help

Which radiator did you buy?

Had a track day last week at Sebring Raceway with highs of 55 degrees and very windy. 3 laps in, I was at 205 degrees coolant and 235 degrees oil temps while short shifting and coasting on straights.

Since then I’ve purchased a HEL oil cooler and now want to pick a radiator to just assist a little more. I’m trying to not ball out if possible.

Options, total cost:
Koyorad: $470 shipped
CSF: $740 shipped
PWR Street: $970 shipped

At this point, I’m not willing to spend $2,000 on the amazing WOT triple pass.

I’ve read of 2 people saying their Koyorad radiator failed, none for CSF or PWR.

I’m really leaning to CSF or Koyorad, is CSF that much better or are they very similar? Is PWR street worth it over those two?

My current mods: PRL intake, PRL intercooler, PRL RMM, PRL coolant tank, TSP downpipe, tuned.

Consider ditching the PRL intercooler and get addition by subtraction.

I don't have hard data, which I am an advocate for so ultimately I realize I'm yet just one more internet bro with an opinion- but there is a definite noticeable correlation of reports of high temps during track usage and PRL intercoolers.

I live in Florida and got the WOT/PWR simply because I it gets hot here and I don't want to deal with the overheating

I may consider a tube and fin one day.

For now, HEL oil cooler purchased and now looking for a radiator.

You really won't see much difference with the Koyorad. Buy once cry once has always been my motto and PWR makes exceptional cooling products.

Go with WOT triple pass, trans cooler and dual oil cooler setup and get it over with. Cooling is this cars Achilles heal. Shown time and time again. If you want to track it at all you will run into this issue no matter your skill level or track you attend. As soon as the temps rise you are going to kick yourself for investing in anything less. The data has been shown on both products to work. Yeah its expensive. Nature of the beast doing stuff right to cars. Will other products help, sure. But if you are serious regarding the platform and want to push it regarding lap times or power. The margins will narrow. Just my opinion.

Were you running with the heat blasting. That helps a little. At 50 degrees temperature your car should not overheat.

No, I wasn’t. I’ve heard it can help, but haven’t read why.

Are the PWR or WOT triple pass radiators daily drivable? Because it says no on their websites

I track my car and I do have the CSF Radiator and the Acuity Reverse flow hoses. Cooling has improved but car still overheats. I need to do a cool down after 4 laps. I recommend removing that bulky PRL intercooler which blocks airflow to the radiator. I'm thinking of adding an oil cooler down the line.

I will be pairing the CSF radiator with the already ordered, HEL oil cooler.
