Well, the OE 2020+ rear pads are backordered.
I'm going to run EBC RPX in front and EBC NDX on rear now, Castrol SRF fluid.

When I first started I would write down the course in a small notepad and highlight a few key cones (critical apex cones, slaloms, etc) - there's usually only 10-15 cones of consequence on the course, the rest you just drive through/around. Once I did several events I really didn't need the notepad anymore - 2-3 course walks and I could run the course in my mind as many times as I needed (which is a common prep strategy for many national level drivers). It just comes with experience, as there's only so many unique elements and once you have seen them a few times you can string them together in your head.

If you can't run the course in your mind after your walks, do another walk.
I tend to shoot for three course walks to try and nail down the direction it goes. Even then it's usually not until my third run I've really figured out how to approach it. For locals that's not an issue since we tend to get 5 or 6 runs, but this past weekend at a the Streetcar Shootout, I was reminded that I need to work on that. The Three runs were really tough on the mental game.

I just changed the oil about a week ago. When reseting the Maintenance reminder I saw that it had additional services like Transmission oil, Brake Fluid and Engine Coolant.

Im not worried about the brake fluid since I did a brake fluid flush back in January with Castrol SRF.

Should I get the collant flushed and the Transmission oil too? I only have 17,000 miles so Im on an accelerated Maintenance schedule since I did some track days and changed the oil and reset the Maintenance.

Im on B17 right now

People do the trans fluid to get smoother shifting so if you wan that it could be something to consider but as a requirement I agree with Big Bird, not needed.

Thanks. Shifting feels fine for me. Never had any issues with that.

Does engine coolant have a service interval like oil?

10 years / 100 miles IIRC. If the car beeped at you for engine coolant I would just do it.

In general coolant changing is based on the anti-corrosion additives being consumed., so the interval is often based on time. I'm surprised it's asking you to change it already. If we were to look at older cars as an example, it should go for a number of years before the first coolant change, and then every 2 years or so after.

Got my first helmet for the track. So happy with it.

You are getting me to share my helmet and some goodies I just got today :)

Really exicited to try this stuff out. I went to Sebring today and was able to visit a race shop and try on helmets and gloves for sizing. My new helmet is way more comfortable than the one I currently have been using.

Nice safety upgrades. The hans isn't cheap but neither is a neck injury..
