These are my pre-alignment settings after installing the EVS ball joints. The joints are currently in their most aggressive setting. I'm going to swap the collars for the middle setting instead to reduce scrub radius (per @tezzasaurusrex ). My pins are pulled and maxed out. I'm thinking -3 to -3.2 is the sweet spot that I want. 4.4 is just redonkulous. After adjustments I was able to dial the camber down to 3.7 on the aggressive setting, which is still a bit much for me. You can also see how far off the toe is after the installation...lets just say the drive to work today was...sketchy.

*Ignore the castor. These alignment heads are the clip on style, and not the style that actually grabs the rim.

What were your final Toe numbers and you're at stock height still?

-3.7 is where I kind of ended up as well in the most aggressive ball joint setting. It started out in the -4 range as well. for now I am running it as is until next year.

I need to get my project miata on wheels and just set it on fire at this point and clear the space in the garage for the civic

Every time I see your profile name, I say "Laaaaaaaarge Bird" in my head. I can't help it! I can't unsee it!

Do you like running at 3.7 degrees?

btw, the SPC arms look like a difficult or tight install. The bolt on the inside of the arm looks tough to reach but it could just be my inexperience. It's been a while since I've had suspension apart.
I thought the same, but it seems like you can actually get that out without too much trouble from watching a video. I may do the SPC arms (or similar) at some point as I'd rather tip in the top of the tire than push out the bottom for tire clearance benefits.

also a question for the thread since last day to buy stuff.

again with tow hooks...

do yall think there will be a different tow hook option? (specially for the front but also the back) or should I just buy the evasive front and back?

I don't love the kind of surgery you have to do to install the front but I also can't see any other way to do this
I have the EVS tow hook - to me it's unnecessarily expensive, but it does seem to be a very solid setup. The brake ducting trimming is very minimal and the brake duct is still functional, and the bumper cover isn't modified at all

? lol I'm not, that's @PointByPatrol with -5 front and rear camber ?
I was about to say that you've been in the wrong thread this whole time pizza boy ?

I was at -3.5 last year on the old car and turn-in was amaze.

It's been fine -3.6/-3.7 but I haven't had any track time, but I assume it would be similar to last year. In regards to street tire wear, I'll find out how that goes in the spring. I probably will move to the middle setting when I take apart my car for the new season.

big props for @PointByPatrol for the ball joints video!
and didn't even have to remove the rotors, say wahhhh

my only thing is that I probably would go blue loctite over red, I know you are putting very minimal but red loctite scares me lol

I just need to take big birds advice and rotate the dust shield vs remove it completely.

I don't have the dust shields so there's that, but I'd imagine a wobble socket could sneak in there.

ahhhh that makes sense, I was like there is tons of space over there. With the dust shield definitely probably doable but would be much bigger pain in the ass. That said I do like your idea of using the rotor to get things back in place. Mine are on the way but too cold over here to do this before spring
