I'm in for a true 80mm all the way and Ss. I'm in the market for exhaust, ready to buy. I got a dp and front pipe waiting in boxes, just need the right exhaust. I've already ruled out a few that have come out. Take my money đź’°
Which DP and FP did you go with?

This is great, Milltek has quite a bit going on with their system if you haven’t seen what they’re up to…. Including potentially a driver controllable valve option…. Would be good to take some of their cues.

If you guys can get it sounding like the Si exhaust somehow I’d be in love ❤
Think we should keep a valve like the OEM does?

I like it as an option. If it is possible to have it be driver controlled (closed, open, or OEM) that would be even better. Since nobody really knows what opens it or closes it (drive mode, wot, or just higher revs) maybe that understanding would help first.

Has anyone removed the muffler post valve? So that when the valve opens, it's a full bypass?

That's essentially how it is from the factory. If you look through the center pipe the valve is right there and its just a straight pipe in the middle with a small resonated baffling inside. When its closed it diverts air to the outside 2 pipes with muffler but when its open its basically straight through.

Looks like Function Werk is testing a prototype exhaust right now :hmm:

Doesn't sound too bad, and it looks like the Tip design is similar to the AP1 S2000 Mugen exhaust which is kind of cool.

So who has got something aftermarket and wants to give me their OEM setup? I want to cut one up and design some things. :)

Decided to go a custom exhaust shop to do a mod on the exhaust. Both resonators deleted, mufflers deleted, and the active exhaust valve was bypassed. Actually sounds better in person and happy with it as a temp until more options come out. There is drone but I believe it’s bearable, for now. Lol I’ll get a better video for you guys and pics this weekend.
Also considering doing this - did they delete all 3 rear mufflers? Or kept the centre muffler?

Did both resonators and deleted the outside two mufflers.
I see, now you've had it done for a few weeks - any regrets? I might only delete the two resonators and keep the muffler as is to start off with.
